Suman Junior College for Girls (General & Vocational)

(Established in 2001)

Suman Junior College for Girls was established in 2001 with regular courses offered by Board of Intermediate. This College was inaugurated by Dr. C. Ranga Rajan, the then Governor of Andhra Pradesh, and former RBI Governor.

Later vocational courses viz. MPHW (F), MLT, CS were introduced in 2010. The formal inauguration of these vocational courses was done by Sri K. Rosaiah, the then Chief Minister of Andhra Padesh and Sri ESL Narsimhan, the then Governor of Andhra Pradesh.

Intermediate (General):

  • MPC
  • BiPC
  • MEC
  • CEC

Intermediate (Vocational):

  • Multipurpose Health Worker MPHW (F)
  • Medical Lab Technician (MLT)
  • Computer Science (CS)

These vocational courses are designed to provide vocational education or technical skills required to perform the tasks of a particular job to the students of Intermediate.  Vocational colleges focus on job-specific training to students who are typically bound for one of the skilled professions, rather than providing formal academic training to students pursuing career in a particular discipline.

Medium of Instruction & Examination: English and Telugu

Eligibility criteria for both General and Vocational Intermediate

(i)              Age:  Should have completed 15 years of age on or before June of the year in which admission is sought.

(ii)            Qualification: Should have qualified 10th standard in Hindi, English or Telugu Medium.
