The value of good education cannot be underestimated. But, It is sad that though the entire world has made a lot of progress in science and technology, the condition of women, especially in the rural areas has changed very little. In many parts of India, women are still treated as second class citizens and are not treated equally as their male counterparts. Their condition becomes worse when they give birth to girl child. Many women are not allowed to step outside their houses and are prevented from getting educated. They remain in the custody of their parents before marriage, their husbands after marriage and in the old age their children.

Today, due to the efforts of some women reformers, women in India have freedom and right of expression, equality and education. Many of them hold high positions in all fields.

We firmly believe that women are the pillars and backbone of our society. When we educate a girl, the entire generation gets educated. When we empower women, the whole nation gets empowered.
